Fairy Dust for Friday

Anyone have any spare fairy dust? Truth is, I’d rather be the fairy godmother than Cinderella. I made my theatrical debut in 4th grade in that role and I still am in the wings, ready with my lines.

What I really need is some fashion advice. I’m preparing for a seminar next week and there will be a videographer taping the presentation. What do I wear? I mean for the camera to like me. Some of you who are handy with a camera surely know the rules regarding colors, prints, etc. Oh, and what can I wear that will make me look slender and lovely? Yeah, that’s what I thought- there’s that need for fairy dust.

If you know anybody in the Tallahassee, FL area that needs some encouragement in their marriage, please pass the word and send them here to register. It’s next Saturday, Feb. 28th, 9 AM -1 PM. It would be a first for me to meet someone that I’ve only known through blogging!

Have a great weekend. I’m keeping my grandpuppy so I’ll have some really cute pictures!

Hello, Bev! I checked out the venue and your course! Sounds fabulous! I, too, have such a heart for marriages! I'll be praying for your ministry time this Saturday! You will be such a blessing--and will look marvelous! As for fashion--just remember: no horizontal stripes! EVER! BTW: I love the ROC products! My precious Tim actually picked out what he thought would be the BEST product for me. He came back with the intensive night cream for DEEP WRINKLES AND EXPRESSION LINES! Gotta love an HONEST (and very brave!) MAN! my heart through Jesus, Sylane

My communication professor (who does lots of seminars) always said to go with a blue suit. Black is too formal for people to feel comfortable. Skirt suit with neutral shirt if you want to be more formal. If you want people to feel more at ease instead, a blue pant suit with a bright colored scar/shirt that shows a little personality. Good luck!

Fashion advice won't work from me.
I've been told by people that I am the only Republican Hippie they know.

Hi Bev, So good to hear from you! I was actually thinking about your earlier in the week, as I came across another blogger who had just posted a photo of a real live daffodil from her garden!!

Spring is happening in some places, alas still not here in Alberta. The temperatures feel spring-like, but we're still buried in 3 feet of snow.

I loved your fairy godmother posting..... I never stopped to think of it, but I like your view of being the one granting the wishes! Cool!

Enjoy your seminar and the photo ops! I won't give any advice on that front.....there are many better able than I on such matters. (smile).

Cheerio!
