Castles in the Sand

The retreat this weekend was awesome. I am still assimilating all God spoke. The theme was “Transformed in the Journey”. I’ll be sharing some highlights as I have time get what’s in my heart through my fingers to the keyboard. This morning, my heart sings “The Best is Yet to Come!”

When I arrived Friday, my first order of business was to put my toes in the sand. Honestly, that’s as relaxing as a massage to me. I ran to my car to get my camera when I saw this on the beach. This is what Spring looks like in Florida: sun, salty air, rhythmic waves. And sandcastles.

I love retreats. The half of their impact rarely declares itself until many days following. No doubt you'll be blessed over-and-over again!

Great sand-castle!

Looks like a day at the beach. LOL.

Regarding "Paul" - I guess if he is a Christian, he couldn't bring himself to write "great post" if he didn't read it. I think it's just spam in the effort to get people to his blog. But you reap what you sow. I'm not reading him, if he doesn't have the courtesy to read me. :-)

You have to check out the cool sand sculptures my cousin-in-law makes. Unbelievable. Here's a couple:

Hi, Beverly. Just wanted to stop by for a visit, I always love what you have to say. Awesome sand castle.

I look forward to hearing your reflections on your retreat. I believe I may be beginning to have some epiphanies of my own again soon... we are slowly returning to normal as we assimilate Lulu into our family.

I hope you have a lovely week.
