Goin’ to the chapel!

We’re goin’ to the chapel, they’re goin’ to get married!
We are so thrilled that we are getting another beautiful daughter!
Our son proposed this week on The One’s birthday and they are making plans.
I hear the proposal was romantic and memorable and he presented her with a beautiful ring. How he pulled that shopping feat off without me or his sisters knowing is a mystery waiting to be revealed. Favorite Son was drilled relentlessly when he was younger by 2 sisters, me and my mom on how girls want to be treated. (LOL - maybe we haven’t stopped drilling and grilling.) Apparently, he learned his lessons well.

I am ready to go shopping for my dress. Oh – they haven’t set the date, so you think it’s too soon? Rats.

Congrats! I can't wait to hear about all those wedding plans from you and Uncommon Blonde.

That has to be an awesome thing to see your son find the love of his life. An answer to a prayer since he was a baby, I'm sure.

I'm sure people would think I'm crazy if they heard me praying for my two year old's future wife. :-)

You are right on, not in the least bit crazy! For some reason, it was always about the age of 4 when I first started praying for our children's future spouses. It's never to early to start! Watching God's plan unfold is totally cool.

Congratulations! How exciting to see our sons grow into young men and honor their mother by honoring their bride.

Oh... you can start looking - buy beige... the mother of the groom gets to keep her mouth shut and wear beige!

Fortunately, my sons married wives who love me and allowed me to speak and wear something besides beige.

That is too funny. I have never heard that saying about the mother of the groom. I don't think I'll have to wear beige. Rumor has it that it will be a black & white wedding. I wonder what that means for my dress.
