Nature Trumps Technology

Everyone has stress. Technology allows me to work at home but it’s funny how this enables multi-tasking. I do not need to be enabled in that area! There’s nothing like having 10 windows open PLUS 3 people asking questions via IM PLUS a phone conversation going on with yet another person on hold. I had that happen this morning and I answered one of my co-workers’ IMs with “on phone”. He disregarded that and said “I need to know now.” I laugh because really, how am I supposed to carry on 4 conversations at once?

The reason I could laugh is because of stress management. I left my computer for the day Saturday for this view:

I consider myself quite blessed that I live in the country yet I am 45 minutes from the beach.
Beach + Daughters = Major Relaxation!
Happy Monday.

Multi tasking---something I do way too much of. Unfortunately I don't always multi-finish what I was tasking on.

What a beautiful picture!
Glad you had fun!

Umm, excuse me but I think I am coveting. Yup - it's really rising up - coveting. Maybe even a little envy.

What a blessing of a day! I hope it was a ball, and that you were totally refreshed. Because today at "work" you needed to be!

"I need to know now." Indeed!

I am soooooo jealous! That is a view that I miss. There is nothing like sand between the toes and sun and wind and the waves.... ahhhhh - God's provision for unwinding, relaxation, healing... peace, joy.... yes, it is truly God's provision!
