This is the second edition of "I See What You're Saying", a vlog carnival hosted by Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee. The idea is to enhance blog friendships by letting you see and hear your bloggy friends. I'm not sure if the cheesiness of making a video of yourself accomplishes that - but it's good clean fun. Thanks for stopping by.
P.S. My technical difficulties on the pre-lit Christmas tree are quite obvious here. I decided next year is the best time to fix the issue.

Your video is so good - it makes me want to not post mine! You are so poised. Really a great video and a GREAT message! Thanks, Beverly!!
Thanks for stopping by! I love the video! You did such a great job! I love game shows too!
Oh Beverly! What a wonderful surprise to pop over to see you and find this! Now you must be sure to link up to Mr. Linky at my site tomorrow so that everyone will come see you. You did a fantastic job with this--just as if you had written a post but spoke it instead. And instead of a picture to go with you post as many of us do, you had a 3-D illustration! Wow! Thank you for doing this. I'm cracking up that your family names your clothes?! I pray that God grants you the desires of your heart in 2009. It is a safe prayer to pray for you because your spirit is so pure and your heart is a heart after the Father's. Blessings!
Love the message!
I liked the way you explained your goals for 2009,you got me thinking.
Thanks for the visit,
Tammy
It seems like Kelly and I (as usual) are on the same thought pattern. I was going to write something similar to what she did. Not only were you poised, but you really looked relaxed and at home in front of the camera... hhmm...future in show business...
ANYWAY, thanks for the message. It was very special to me as I am trying to find out what my new goal needs to be.
It really was great to "See What You Were Saying"!
Wow! Thanks for the thought-provoking post.
Some good thoughts to reflect on as we journey into 2009! You did a great job on your vlog. I should have looked at more of these before I posted mine. I would have been inspired to be more creative! Yours blessed me today. May your dreams be fulfilled this year.
Great video & a great message.
Oh my! I could hear your desire to know God's will in your life!
You are so right, God want us all to find the desires of our hearts.
What a wonderful goal for 2009 and for the rest of your life. It is something we should all aspire to!
I enjoyed your video!
Blessings
Robin
That was wonderful. I love the bear vest. I always get a laugh form you southerners. (I'm from MN)
Did it ever creep you out when Monty would kiss the ladies? I used to WANT him to kiss me if I were on the show...Am I weird?
Ah, I used to pretend I was Carol Merrill when I was little! Cracked me up how she would caress the items they were showing that might hide the prize.
Great video1
This was great Beverly! What a wonderful message. My grandaughters are watching with me and when you said "Take delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." they got excited and said "That's one of our Bible verses!"
Loved it!
Oh man! Has it come to that? We have explain Let's Make a Deal? I suddenly feel more hairs turning gray.
what a beautiful vlog with some very GREAT encouragment! thank you.
AMEN!!!!!! I loved your message and video.
Ohilda
What a great idea. You are no natural on camera. The message was a great one; so positive and meaningful. I love this video.
I'll take curtain #1. My unfulfilled dream is to be as poised as you on camera :-)
GREAT job!
Thanks for the encouragement! I really appreciate what you had to say. I know in my head that God will give me all the desires of my heart but sometimes it is really hard to make my heart belive it. Thanks so much for sharing.
You are a great public speaker and so gracious! I loved this video and I once lived in Fl and love your "bear suit."
Great video Beverly. I too think that this will be a special year. I wish I could speak that well in public.
I appreciate your encouragement. I am ready to face 2009 with expectation of what God is going to do in my life, too.
I had fun looking around your blog but was unable to view the video. Was it vimeo... I can't do those. It was nice to 'mmet' you anyway sounds like yours is one to see too, :-( Happy New Year!
Beverly..so good to SEE you!!! And this post was so good and very timely!! As we think about 2009, my desire is to be close to God so that my hearts desires are His.
ps....everyone is right, you look so comfortable in front of the camera!!!
Not to hammer it home or anything...but you are a great public speaker and a natural in front of a camera. Great job and what an encouragement. I have a few of those (unfulfilled dreams), perhaps this will be my year too.
I was going to say what everyone else said :)
Thank you for bringing up the topic of unfulfilled dreams. It's so true and I needed the reminder to live out the gifts God has given me. Thank you. So nice to meet you.
Living in the South myself, I totally understand the overdressing thing.
What a great post! I definitely agree with you and think a lot of women & man have unfulfilled dreams. They just give up. God has shown me a lot about just surrendering my dreams to Him and actually He has opened up a lot of doors for me related to these dreams just when I decided to surrender. Thanks for this reminder!
First, I grew up in Florida and we did tend to over dramatized 60 degree weather and freak out when it dropped into the 50's!
Loved you video and the message, wow, how uplifting!!!
What a fantastic video. You are such a wonderful speaker! I have so much I need to let go of and hand over to God. I will be using your video as a reminder. Thank you!
So well thought out!
You are dressed just right for PA this time of year. :)
P.S. I'm not sure about the cheesiness either, but it's fun!

This is great! Of course, the communicator in me and now the teacher could only think what an awesome tool this would be in teaching public speaking. I've considered videoblogcasting for my 7th grade science students as well and you've reminded me what a great idea it really is!
30 comments!?! That's awesome! I need to participate next time
I'm still looking for my key! But, thanks to this post, I'm ever more determined to find it.
Thank you for sharing. I'm thinking of several ways we could make a great team...hmmmm ;)
